This week, two of Tauro’s Capital Advisors gave very different 2 Minutes presentations. Michael Bucaro out of Orange County used his time to reflect on the time of year it was. With the end quickly approaching, it is a good time to take a look back and reflect on what worked and what did not, so you can plan for 2024. Anthony Johnston out of San Diego was inspired by a news article on a former prospect. A news article went out talking about the indictment of this former prospect and how he is on the hook for a lot of money. This person never became a client because although he presented well in meetings, his reactions to the Tauro Process including the need for an exclusive agreement gave Anthony a gut feeling that ultimately caused him to move on from the prospect. Now he is using this as a warning to trust your instincts and to observe prospects because getting involved with this guy would have been a mistake.
